According to reports, one of the students who was initially denied admission to Achimota School has been accepted by the Ghana International School.

It is also reported that Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea has been awarded a scholarship to attend the prestigious school for his Junior High School education.

In a Facebook post, the student’s alleged uncle, Kojo Meziah Baako, revealed that Nkrabea is on a full scholarship worth USD$ $160,000 at GIS.

He wrote: “My nephew Oheneba NKRABEA received a full scholarship at the GIS Ghana International School valued at $160,000 in the most prestigious school in Ghana

“While the battle is in court and our struggle continues to defeat neo-colonialism!!!”

Kojo Meziah’s revelation comes after Achimota School and the Attorney General’s Office appealed a court decision that overturned the school’s refusal to admit Rasta students.

Meanwhile, Ras Nkrabea, Oheneba’s father, says he is now focused on his son’s education, who has transferred from Achimota School to GIS.

The Achimota School and the Attorney General have returned to court to challenge the High Court’s decision earlier this year that the two Rasta students be admitted to the school.
