28-year-old Josephine Panyin Mensah, who was reported missing but now found was actually not pregnant, new reports emerging suggests.

This information was given by Western Regional Minster, Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah.

The Regional Minister said medical report available to the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) indicate that she was not pregnant.

“From the BNI’s preliminary investigations they said this whole story was fake and the medical doctor who took care of her said she wasn’t pregnant,” he said in an interview on Kessben TV.

Mr. Michael Simmons reported on Friday, September 17 that her wife Josephine was missing after she left home on Thursday dawn for a walk and never returned.

Her husband reported to the police after search for her the previous day proved futile.

He later told the police that his mother-in-law later recieved a call from an unknown person who demanded a ransom to return Josephine.

The case added to the many kidnapping rumours in the Western Region capital.

She was found weeks later in Axim in a state of shock and inability to speak.

Earlier reports say Josephine was reportedly pregnant and was recieving herbal care from her mother but that has been proven to be a cooked up story.
