Information from close relatives reaching Young Stars Music holds that Charles Kormi Kudjordji, popularly known as Papavi Hogbedetor, the Western Togoland Crusader is dead.
According to family sources, the 86-year old Charles Kormi Kudjordji, died in the late hours of Friday, October 15, 2021, at a hospital in the Volta Region.
Papavi has been at forefront of a separatist campaign to get the Volta region and other parts of North-Eastern part Ghana seceded into an independent Western Togoland state .
He was recently arrested and arraigned in connection with a supposed independence declaration sometime in October, 2019
