HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM MUSIC AS AN UPCOMING MUSICIAN [YSMA DAILY SHOWBIZ TIPS]

Everything that we spend money to do in this life we expect some positive outcomes from them being the like of cash or money. 

In today's episode of YSMA DAILY SHOWBI TIPS, I will be giving out some ways that every up and coming artiste can be making some dime[money] to support his career.

Before we start I want to throw small light on who an UPCOMING ARTISTE/ MUSICIAN  is.

An upcoming artiste or musician is someone who has passion and dedicated his time for music and pursuing it as a career. 

Another major tip that qualifies one to be an upcoming artiste is the quality and content of his crafts and songs.

Now let's get to the main point. How then can you as an upcoming musician makes your money at your comfortable zone? 

1. Do qualify songs with good contents.

Someone may ask that how can the quality of my music help me to make money? Yes, the quality of your music create 99% chances for you to make money from your music. Don't forget quality sells quality. The quality of your songs will increase the number of people that will consume it and the will boost your chance to make some cool cash from it.

2. Distribute your music on digital stores

Most of the upcoming artistes have less idea about how to distribute their songs on digital stores which is not helping them to make money. 

As an upcoming artiste you must have a trusted distribution company to be working with so that they can be helping you sell your music online which will generate some cash for you. Some of the distribution companies include, MAGROOVE, JAXSTA, AWAL, AMUSE etc.

3. Grants and donations

Upcoming artistes can also get money from grants and donations from those who love their music. How then can this happens? As an upcoming artiste who is independent, there are some projects that you will like to put up but because of financial problem, you cannot do

 so before you can get it done, you must run a campaign that will help you to get some support from the public to support your projects. 

These campaign includes writing sponsorship letter to some top ranked personnel in your locality.

4. Playing shows

The fact that you are an upcoming artiste does not mean you should be playing every show for free. 

Sometimes you must bill the organizers because there are so many things that you suppose to do before the show even your costume must be something that will help you promote your brand so please be charging the organizers because they don't pay your recording bills, promotion bills etc. so don't let them be using you to make money just because you are an upcoming artiste

5. Appreciate the little support your fans give you.

The main key in every artiste's life is there fans because they are the ones that consume their music and without them they can't stand in the music game so please appreciate the little supports they give you like, voting for you during competitions, donating money for you to support your projects etc.
