A Ghanaian automobile business, Kantanka Automobile, has successfully tested its first locally manufactured missile.

The missile was shown in a video on social media to have a range of about 1000 feet.

We don’t know all the specifics of this Kantanka-built missile, but we believe it’s a promising start and an innovative idea that merits funding and attention.

One of the most prominent luxury automobile manufacturers in the world is Kantanka Automobile. Founded in 1994 by Kwadwo Safo Kantanka as a limited liability company, it specializes in the production of automobile parts and components.

Armored personnel carriers, tanks, and helicopters are also said to have been constructed by Kantanka.

Fireworks seem to be the principal weaponry of these contraptions. They’ve also created combat exoskeletons that serve more as props than actual weapons, according to the information available.

The 2018 Annual Technology Show at Apostle Safo School of Arts and Sciences saw Kantanka debut an armored vehicle with a rangefinder.

It’s worth noting that in 2017, Ghana launched its first satellite into orbit. All Nations University students in Koforidua produced GhanaSat-1, which was launched from the International Space Station.

Hundreds of people, including the engineers, gathered in the southern Ghanaian city to see the live images of the rocket’s lift-off.
