Release, Monica, My Darling Netflix has announced a November release date.

 Monica, O My Darling will be released in November. Netflix revealed a guide to its future shows and movies in a Tudum 2022 Fall Preview blog post. Monica, O My Darling, a new Vasan Bala whodunit comedy, is on that list. While Netflix does not provide a specific release date for any of the latter titles on the list, fans can anticipate to see the Rajkummar Rao-led drama sometime in November. Following a screening at the Films Day event in Mumbai, Netflix released a teaser trailer for Monica, O My Darling on Tuesday.

Bala, who co-wrote Bombay Velvet, characterizes the film as a neo-noir in which the "ideal plan" for anything unlawful devolves into absolute chaos in the lives of people concerned. In Monica, O My Darling, the act is murder, which Rao (Lust Stories) plans to do. The minute-long Monica, O My Darling teaser was weak on story elements, focusing instead on certain interactions between the key characters.

Huma Qureshi (Army of the Dead) is one such character who appears to be involved in some sort of organized crime. Rao, a robotics expert, devises a strategy to perform the ideal murder, leaving no DNA evidence. This is supported by the official synopsis, which mentions "robots smashing human skulls," as well as other thematic aspects like passion, extortion, and treachery. Radhika Apte, who channels a distinct accent for this role, joins the plan. Her character is unknown, but Monica, O My Darling finds her reuniting with author Yogesh Chandekar. They previously collaborated on Andhadhun.

Monica, O My Darling also stars Bagavathi Perumal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sukant Goel (Dobaaraa), and Zayn Marie Khan as comedic henchmen, as well as Sikandar Kher (The Zoya Factor) as a comedic henchman.

Aside from Monica, O My Darling, the Tudum blog article highlights a number of titles that will be available on the streaming platform this autumn. The fifth installment of the martial arts-themed comedy, Cobra Kai 5, will be released on September 9. Blonde, directed by Andrew Dominik and starring Ana de Armas, will round up the month. The film is a fictionalized biopic of late actress Marilyn Monroe, and it will be released on Netflix on September 28.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, an anthology series, premieres on October 21. Enola Holmes 2, starring Millie Bobbie Brown, will be released on November 4th. The aforementioned Monica, O My Darling, and The Crown season 5 are also scheduled for a November release, although no specific dates have been set.
