Thor: Love and Thunder, Andor, Pinocchio, and More on Disney+ Hotstar in September 2022

A list of 57 titles that will be available on Disney+ Hotstar in September 2022 has been released. The new Star Wars series Andor, starring Diego Luna, is one of the best. It transports viewers to a galaxy far, far away before the events of Rogue One, which were themselves set before the events of Episode IV - A New Hope. The first three episodes of Andor will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on September 21. Andor, in contrast to recent Star Wars television shows, will only be offered in English and Hindi. I assume that Hotstar's attempts to offer dubs for Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam failed to attract enough viewers to make the expense worthwhile.

In September, there are two additional significant American releases. Robert Zemeckis, the director of Forrest Gump and Back to the Future, will reimagine Pinocchio on September 8, which is being dubbed Disney+ Day. Pinocchio will combine live-action and photorealistic animation, much like The Lion King, to tell the story of a wooden puppet who sets out on an exciting adventure to become a real boy. Geppetto, played by Tom Hanks, is the woodcarver, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Pinocchio's mentor. Jiminy Cricket, the Blue Fairy, and "Honest" John are all played by Keegan-Michael Key and Cynthia Erivo. Pinocchio will be available in Hindi and English, just like Andor.

The other is Hocus Pocus 2, which, after 29 years, reunites the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker), who are out for vengeance in this follow-up to the 1993 cult classic movie. Before dawn on All Hallow's Eve, three high school students must stop the ravaging witches from unleashing a brand-new type of mayhem on Salem. On Disney+ Hotstar, Hocus Pocus 2 will be available on September 30.

We have three originals coming from India in September 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. In Cuttputlli, Akshay Kumar plays a newly appointed sub-inspector who looks into a string of horrific killings of young teenage girls in the sleepy Himachal Pradesh town of Kasauli. Cuttputlli is a Hindi translation of the Tamil film Ratsasan. On September 2, Cuttputlli became available on Disney+ Hotstar. The second film, titled Dahan: Raakan Ka Rahasya, stars Tisca Chopra as a paranormal investigator. A mining company is discovered excavating for a rare earth mineral beneath a revered and fabled temple in the Rajasthani village of Shilaspura. On September 16, Dahan makes its Disney+ Hotstar debut. Tamannaah appears in the comedy-drama Babli Bouncer, which premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on September 23 and is directed by Madhur Bhandakar.

Last but not least, on September 8, Disney+ Hotstar will release Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth solo outing for Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder, which stars Natalie Portman as the Mighty Thor brandishing Mjolnir. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will continue to be available to those who are familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe throughout September. Other August series that are still on the air include the Pankaj Tripathi-led Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, the celebrity-driven talk show Koffee with Karan season 7, and the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon. New episodes of each of these series will be released on Disney+ Hotstar throughout September.

A number of series will return for new seasons in September. This includes the animated comedies The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob's Burgers as well as the reality series The Kardashians. Keep an eye out for the Rosa Salazar-led action comedy romantic thriller if you want more international TV. Wedding Season, which debuts on September 8, Reboot, with Keegan-Michael Key and Judy Greer, which is expected to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 21, and Reasonable Doubt, a legal drama produced by Kerry Washington, which is anticipated to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 27.

What's left are a ton of Korean dramas, which Disney+ frequently airs. But this time, there's more than just fiction. The suspenseful thriller Grid debuts first on September 7. The game show The Zone: Survival Mission, the police university series Rookie Cops, the legal mystery drama May It Please the Court, the high school series Golden Spoon, and the legal comedy One Dollar Lawyer all follow on September 8 and September 21, respectively. However, unlike previous months, it is unknown if there will be free local-language dubs. Disney+ Hotstar has been contacted by Gadgets 360 for clarification.
