The release date for WWE 2K23, the most recent installment in 2K's annual pro-wrestling video game series, has just been announced. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X on March 17, and the cover features the 16-time world champion John Cena. Those who purchase the premium versions of WWE 2K23 will get three days of early access starting on March 14. In order to commemorate Cena's 20th anniversary as a wrestler-turned-actor, WWE 2K23 will feature him on all three covers—the Standard, Deluxe, and Icon editions—based on memorable moments from his career.

After charting the career of Rey Mysterio in WWE 2K22, the most recent version of the game sees players take on the role of John Cena and compete against his most formidable rivals throughout his 20-year WWE career. In a sense, this is Cena's second 2K Showcase. He previously had a brief segment in WWE 2K15 that primarily focused on his rivalry with CM Punk. As the events seamlessly transition from gameplay to live-action footage and vice versa, players can anticipate going all the way back in time to his debut this time around. Naturally, Cena will recount the entire event, providing insight into his mental state during those crucial matches.

Play Video Cena said in a prepared statement, "It is a pleasure to tell the story of my career through the WWE 2K23 Showcase." I am honored to appear on the cover of WWE 2K23, and 2K has done a fantastic job of capturing and revitalizing the WWE 2K franchise through this concept.

Pre-orders for WWE 2K23 are now available on PC and consoles. The Standard Edition includes the base game as well as a Bad Bunny Bonus Pack that includes a Ruby-tier MyFaction card for Bad Bunny as a playable character. The cross-generational version of the same will only be available digitally.

In addition to the aforementioned content and a season pass to "all five" post-launch DLC content packs, the MyRise Mega-Boost and SuperCharger, Ruby John Cena MyFaction Evo Card, Gold Edge MyFaction Card, Emerald Bianca Belair MyFaction Card, Gold Asuka MyFaction Card, and three "Basic Premium Launch" MyFaction Card Packs, the Deluxe edition and higher grant three-day early access to WWE 2K23.

The Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K23 will set you back Rs, regardless of generation or version (physical or digital) on your console. 7,499. It costs Rs. on the PC version. 5,699.

In addition to the WrestleMania 22 arena and the John Cena Legacy Championship, the Icon Edition includes throwback versions of John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and Brock Lesnar. The Icon Edition of WWE 2K23 costs Rs. 7,999 for each and every console and Rs. 6,799 on PC.

Additional features for WWE 2K23 WWE 2K23 introduces a brand-new WarGames mode that lets players compete in thrilling single or multiplayer 3v3 or 4v4 matches "inside two side-by-side rings, surrounded by a double-steel cage." Players can choose from a roster or create their own customized General Manager to assign budgets, sign free agents, and put on a good show in MyGM, which is back.

In the meantime, online play of the MyFaction mode has been added, allowing players to build their squads and compete in the Weekly Towers and Faction Wars modes for global dominance. MyRise, also known as the career mode, is back, and it lets you trace an existing Superstar's or your own star's ascent from humble beginnings. And who can forget the wacky Creation Suit, where players could design, search for, and share their very own wrestlers to use in the game?

On March 17, WWE 2K23 will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Those who purchase the Deluxe and Icon Editions of the game will receive three days of early access, beginning on March 14.
